After the Asha 502, the Nokia Asha phones lineup in India adds two more device – Asha 500 and Asha 503. The Asha 500 is the cheapest among the three and carries a price tag of Rs 4,499. It bundles three months of free WhatsApp for Reliance subscribers. After the offer period, users will have to pay Rs 17 per month for the next nine months. On the other hand, Nokia will start selling the Asha 503 from the first week of January 2014, with a price tag of Rs 6,799.
The dual SIM (GSM + GSM) Nokia Asha 500 features a 2.8-inch QVGA display. It gets a 2-megapixel rear camera, 64MB RAM, Nokia's Easy Swap technology for switching between SIMs, dual standby mode and a microSD card sot. The 1200mAh battery promises up to 14 hours of talktime and up to 528 hours of standby time. The device is available in red, black, white and yellow colours.
Asha 503 to start selling next month
The 503 is the most expensive among the most recent Asha devices. It has a very similar specs sheet to the Asha 502. The Asha 503 comes with a 3-inch display but gets a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection. Other specs include a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, dual-SIM and dual standby support, a microSD card slot, and a 1200mAh battery.
The Nokia Asha 502 was recently launched for Rs. 5,969. It bundles 500MB of free 2G data usage for Idea subscribers for three months. Nokia Asha 502 sports a 3-inch LCD display and supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) and dual standby along with Nokia's Easy Swap technology. All three phones are based on Nokia’s Asha Platform 1.1 and will also feature the updated Fastlane app, one-swipe access to camera app and one-touch sharing feature on WhatsApp.
