Samsung shows-off Game Pad for Galaxy Note 3






Playing games on a large portable screen is always desiring, and with the power of Android operating system and a smartphone like the South Korean's 2013 phablet flagship, the Galaxy Note 3, we must say the fun is building up.

So do the company decided to add a new improved unit to the Galaxy fleet's gaming capabilities, turning Android gaming and your new Galaxy Note 3 into a total gaming console, where the Korean manufacturer Samsung went officially introducing the Game Pad. A joystick that can be one touch paired with your phablet via Near Field Communication (NFC) or Bluetooth 4.0 support.



As said by the retailer, the Galaxy Note 3 can be safely and securely fitted in the retractable clip. The new low power consumption Samsung made Game Pad consists of two traditional looking analogs, shoulder button, D-Pad, four action tap buttons and full mobile control buttons. The console also features microUSB port for charging the battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Game Pad it to be available in United Kingdom from this Thursday, 19th of December at a price about 130 unites Sates Dollars online through UK based Clove retailer.

Micromax outs Canvas 2.2






The Indian consumer electronic company, Micromax unveils a new Android smartphone named Canvas 2.2 A114. 

It will come out of the box with a MediaTek MT6582M SoC Quad-Core 1.3GHz processor, 5-inches qHD screen with the resolution of 540 x 960 display, 4GB internal storage (expandable via microSD card slot), 1GB RAM, 8 megapixels primary camera and 2 megapixels front camera, 2,000mAh powered battery and runs Android version 4.2 Jelly Bean. This device will be up for grabs for about US Dollars 210.

Huawei announces two new Android devices, the Honor 3X phablet and Honor 3C smartphone






Huawei unveils their two new models of Androids to the Chinese based company's Honor fleet, one seemingly being a larger phablet and another a smartphone, but both with dual-SIM capabilities.

First up its the company's latest model of phablet as seen in the above picture, marking it's screen sizes wide with a 5.5-inches IPS screen of Full High Definition 720p resolution display, where the company claims going 1080p would drain about more 20 percent of it's battery life, an Octa-Core Cortex-A7 SoC with MediaTek MT6592 processor clocked 1.7GHz, 2 gigabytes of Random Access Memory (RAM), 13 megapixels primary camera on the back with LED flash light and a 5 megapixels front facer. The Huawei Honor 3X will feature dual-3G SIM card slots, one with mini-SIM and another with micro-SIM, both working on WCDMA and TD-SCDMA, also the smartphone is powered with a 3,000mAh battery and boots Android.

The device sports dual-mic system for in-call noise cancellation, and supports DTS audio. And according to the price, the newly announced Huawei Honor 3X will up for sales for around 280 Unites Sates Dollars, we still have no availability info, just yet.



The Huawei Honor 3C is the model with coming out of the box with a Quad-Core Cortex-A7 chipset with a MediaTek MT6582 processor running at 1.3GHz, a five-inches LPTS screen with Full High Definition 720p resolution display, hitting in eight gigabytes of internal mass memory (expandable via microSD card slot), one and two gigabytes of Random Access Memory (RAM) selection, Sony's eight megapixels primary camera with LED flash light, the same five megapixels front facer from the 3X, dual-SIM card slots supporting WCDMA + GSM or TD-SCDMA + GSM, a 2,300mAh powered batery and features Google's Android version 4.2 Jelly Bean.

The handsets are to be available by tomorrow, from China's online retail JD.com and Huawei's own VMall.com, at a price around 130 USD for the one gigabyte variant and 160 USD for the two gigabytes model off-contract, respectively.

Samsung unveils Galaxy Core Advance






Samsung introduces another member to it's budget friendly line-up, the new Galaxy Core Advance. A successor to it's sibling models Galaxy Core and Core Plus. Moreover looking like the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active with South Korean's bringing back the physical buttons in use with there new mid-ranger Android powered smartphone.

The new Samsung Galaxy Core Advance will pack a Dual-Core processor running at 1.2GHz, 4.7-inches TFT screen of WVGA resolution display, eight gigabytes of internal memory (expandable via microSD card slot), a gigabyte of Random Access Memory (RAM), five megapixels primary camera with LED flash light and a VGA front facer, Bluetooth 4.0 and third generation (3G) connectivity on board, a 2,000mAh powered battery and packs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Coming in Deep Blue and Pearl White color option, the Galaxy Core Advance will be measured at 133.3 x 70.5 x 9.7 millimeters in dimensions and weighs about 145 grams in total. This new unit will be up for sales by the early months of the coming year, 2014, we still have no words on it's pricing.

Lenovo releases S930 and S650






The Chinese multinational technology company, Lenovo has announced two new android devices named, S930 and S650. We have got it's details and the specifications of these devices.

The Lenovo S930 will come out of the box with a MediaTek 6852 SoC clocked at 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor, six-inches screen with 720p display with 245ppi, 8GB internal memory (expandable via microSD card slot), 1GB RAM, 8 megapixels primary camera with a flah and 1.6 megapixels front camera and 3,000mAh powered battery.







The Lenovo S650 will come out of the box with a MediaTek 6852 SoC clocked at 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor, 4.7-inches qHD screen with 720p display with 245ppi, 8GB internal memory (expandable via microSD card slot), 1GB RAM, 8 megapixels primary camera with a flash and 1.6 megapixels front camera and 2,000mAh powered battery. This device will be available in a Dual-Sim variant too.

Both these devices will available by the end of this month. The price of Lenovo S930 is $427 and the Lenovo S650 is $366.

Sony launches new Dual USB Flash Drive for Androids






Sony's first new accessory for the new year is to be a dual USB Flash Drive, that can be both connected to a computer and and Android smartphone or tablet. From it's design, made out of durable metal body, that fits your personal computer needs with a 2.0 Universal Serial Bus (USB) port and well slips in to an Android smartphone or tablet with a microUSB port on the other side. The new flash drive also consists of a LED light indication and strap hole.



Sony's new portable flash memory drive supports USB On-The-Go (OTG) functionality out of the box, allowing it's users to connect it to any Android devices running version 4.0.3 Jelly Bean or above. 

Sony has also made available a compatible file manager application for their new device in the Google Play Store. Coming in 8, 16 and 32 gigabytes of memory and three color options from White, Black and Purple. The size of the gadget is comparatively small that is measured at 18.9 x 9 x 31.4 millimeters in dimensions and weighs only six grams.

The new Japanese made units are to be available globally by next month, January, at a price of $19.99, $29.99 and $62.99 respectively.

ASUS announces Padfone mini 7-inches tablet and 4.3-inches phone






Taiwanese multinational computer hardware and electronic company, ASUS has announced new Padfone mini which has a 7-incher tablet with a 4.3-incher smartphone. It is a smaller variant of the Padfone Infinity.

It will come out of the box with a 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon MSM8226 processor, the tablet has resolution of 800 x 1280 and the phone's resolution is 540 x 960, 16 gigabytes internal storage (expandable via microSD card slot), 1GB RAM, the tablet has 2,200mAh powered battery and the phone's is 1,500mAh powered battery and it runs Android version 4.3 Jelly Bean.

This device will be available to Taiwanese, Russian, Hong Kong, Singapore, Chinese and Indonesian markets. They might bring this to US markets as well. The price of this device is $405.

Samsung Taiwan announces Galaxy J






Yesterday we had doubts of it coming, and now the South Korean's have it's metal treatment finally approved for Taiwan today. The Japanese NTT DoCoMo exclusive smartphone of Samsung is all ready to pile up the store shelves of Taiwanese market.

The cloned LTE-Advanced model of the Samsung Galaxy S4 with the finish of metal design is to board abroad with a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC and Krait 400 Central Processing Unit (CPU) running at 2.3Ghz, Adreno 330 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), five-inches screen of Full High Definition 1080p resolution Super AMOLED display, 32 gigabytes of internal mass storage, 3 gigs of Random Access Memory (RAM), 13 megapixels primary camera with an LED flash light and Android's version 4.3 Jelly Bean with the company's own TouchWiz launcher on top.

For now the manufacturer have only made the White and Red color option available for the new country released, where it is expected to hit the markets in the coming weeks at a price of 741 USD off-contract or for about 270 USD on-contract with monthly payments of $45.

Galaxy S Duos 2 goes official on Samsung India's eStore domain






We still have no official words yet from the South Koreans, but it looks like the company's Indian eStore is dripping out of it's patients, as the domain list's the unannounced successor to the previous Android mid-ranger smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2.

HTC One with dual-SIM and microSD card slots hits United Kingdom






The High-Tech Computer Corporation have heard it's customers, as one of the best Android smartphones available in the market is now hitting the store shelves of United Kingdom with 'expand-abilities'.

Gionee unveils it's 2013 flagship, Elife E7






Gionee has announced it's 2013 flagship, the Elife E7. Being a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, the company is claiming to have the best 16 megapixels cameraphone the world have ever witnessed, and packs a polished AMIGO 2.0 Android based operating system on board, as said by the sources.

The new smartphone comes out of the box with a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC and Krait 400 processor running at 2.2GHz, Adreno 330 GPU, where the 4G LTE variant of E7 will be the first to sport a 2.5GHz version of Krait 400 processor. The Nubia Z5S mini comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.7GHz,16 or 32GB internal memory, 2GB RAM,13 megapixels primary camera and 5 megapixels front camera, 2,300 powered battery and runs Android version 4.2 Jelly Bean.

The Nubia Z5S with 3G and 16GB storage costs $328 and the 32GB variant costs $567. Nubia Z5S mini's 16GB variant costs $246 and 32GB variant costs $348.

Next generation Nexus wireless charger hits United States






Yesterday the American search giant introduced the next generation Nexus wireless charging pad with improved design language and usability. As the company also went posting it up on sales along with the previously announced official Nexus 5 Bumper cases and Quick covers.

Qualcomm announces Toq smartwatch






Qualcomm is too in the game to play with their newly announced smartwatch for Android powered smartphones, the Toq.

Yesterday Qualcomm Inc. and it's subsidiary, Qualcomm Connected Experiences went officially introducing the company's first ever wearable hardware technology, smartwatch, the Qualcomm Toq. The new accessory can be synced to your Android device via Bluetooth and sports built-in stereo speakers. To make it special, the device will be shipped accompanied with American's own Mirasol display technology, where the smartwatch's screen is said to be 'Always On' and features wireless charger at any angle. To be clear, with the new WiPower LE technology, you can charge the unit by placing it at any angle on a wireless charger.

As per it's availability, Qualcomm has scheduled to launch the new Toq next month, which is on 2nd December, 2013 (a day considered as Cyber Monday) at a price of $349.99

Samsung announces Galaxy Core Plus in Taiwan






Another successor to it's predecessor, yes, the South Korean manufacturer Samsung yesterday went officially announcing the refresher to it's previously announced model, the Galaxy Core Plus in Taiwan.

We would like to rather call this one a degraded version of the original Galaxy Core than an upgraded version, as the handset is featuring lowers specs when compared to the first generation Galaxy Core. The new mid-ranger smartphone will come out of the box with a 1.2GHz Dual-Core processor, 4.3-inches screen of 480 x 800 resolution display, four gigabytes of Read Only Memory (ROM) (expandable via microSD card slot), 768 megabytes of Random Access Memory (RAM), a five megapixels primary shooter with LED flash light and a VGA front facer, 1,800mAh powered battery and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean on board.

At present, this smartphone is an exclusive to Taiwan, and is available at an affordable price of 270 United States Dollars for an off-contract unit. Where there is still no wordings on the device's international availability.

Jolla smartphone with Sailfish OS will be up for sales from November 27






Jolla is an independent Finnish stock company, a designer, also a developer of various mobile devices and the birthplace of open Sailfish operating system based on MeeGo and Mer Core open source projects. We heard about the handset's official announcement this past May, 2013, is now all set to be bought by the public.

The Jolla smartphone will hit the store shelves with a Dual-Core Snapdragon 400 chipset clocked at 1.4GHz, a 4.5-inches screen of 540 x 960 resolution display, 16 gigabytes of internal storage, 1 gigabyte of Random Access Memory (RAM) (expandable via microSD card slot), an eight megapixels main camera with LED flash light and a two megapixels front facer, 2,100mAh powered battery and open Sailfish OS on it's operating side.

According to the latest tweet from the company's official twitter, the all new Finnish smartphone will arrive in Helsinki on the country's carrier, DNA and will be up for orders from 27th November in nine different colors, priced at 537 United States Dollars. Customers can now select applications that comes pre-installed on the device.

Motorola goes official with Moto G, in Brazil






Today, a  new smartphone too placed it's name to the latest release of Android line-up, manufactured by the American data communications and telecommunications equipment provider, Motorola. The new Motorola Moto G is the company's latest mid-ranger budget friendly smartphone, from shades of it's Moto X.

The new handset will sport a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC running at 1.2GHz with a Cortex A-7 Central Processing Unit (CPU), Adreno 305 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), 4.5-inches High Definition screen of 720 x 1280 resolution edge-to-edge display in protection with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, marked at 326 pixels-per-inch, eight and 16 gigabytes of on board storage option, a gigabyte of Random Access Memory (RAM), a five megapixels back camera with LED flash light capable of shooting 720p videos at 30 frames-per-second and a 1.3 megapixels front facer, Bluetooth 4.0, where it lacks 4G LTE support, comes with a 1,950mAh powered battery promising all day long battery life and Google platform's Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on software, upgradable to 4.4 KitKat in future.

To add along, Motorola have introduced removable and interchangeable Motorola Shells (battery door covers) and Flip Shells (flip covers) in seven different colors and Grip Shells (protective cases) in five new colors.

The Moto G will be up for sales in Brazil and a few European countries in the coming week, where Latin America, Europe, Canada and parts of Asia will be receiving the device in a few weeks. While, United States, India and Middle East with rest of Asia will have to wait until next year, January to grab the Motorola made Moto G. And according to the company, the new handset will be available in more than 30 countries worldwide on 60 above carrier partners by next year, 2014. The mobile phone will be priced at $179 for the eight gigs variant and $199 for the 16 gigabytes version.

EVGA Tegra Note 7 is now available for sales





According to previously announced tablet, the American global technology company, NVIDIA and its OEM partner EVGA has put up the Tegra Note 7 to the sales department.   

The Tegra Note 7 includes a Tegra 4 processor with Quad-Core Cortex-A15 and 72-Core Geforce GPU, 7-inch LCD display with resolution of 800 x 1280, 16GB internal memory (expandable via microSD card slot), with an ordinary five megapixels primary camera and VGA webcam. It is an Android powered tablet and has HD audio stereo speaker with unique bass-reflex port. It has ten hours of HD video playback and micro HDMI connector to drive big screen TV videos and gaming.

This tablet will be available for US Dollars 199. Newegg will start selling this device by November 19th and the pre-orders will start by 12th of November.
