Yesterday we saw two entry-level Karbonn smartphones being listed on e-retailer sites. Today, iBall has entered the foray, with a new budget smartphone appearing online. The device in question, being called the Andi 5 E7, is now available online on Snapdeal for Rs 6,999. Sticking to the normal spec sheet formula followed by most phones these days, the Andi 5 E7 sports a 5-inch FWVGA display. The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core Cortex A7 processor coupled with 512MB RAM. The newest iBall device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is fuelled by a mediocre 1850mAh battery. It doesn’t support 3G, though.

Earlier this month, iBall had launched the dual-core 4.5-inch Andi 4.5z. Priced at Rs 7,499, the price tag of the latter is merely Rs 1,500 more than the A5 E7. For the additional moolah, the 4.5z comes with support for 3G and an 8-megapixel rear camera. Some more features include dual-SIM support, a larger 1,700mAh battery, 4GB onboard storage and a microSD card slot. Karbonn also launched the A15+ and A1+ Duple yesterday for Rs 3,690 and Rs 5,890, respectively.
