Indian Computer Peripheral Maker iBall has launched its new dual SIM Android Smartphone named as iBall Andi Uddaan with Safety features for women like SOS Button, ICE (In Case of Emergency) and Geo-Fencing & Tracking. This is India’s first android smartphone which comes with Women safety features. It has 5-inch qHD Screen, Dual-Core Processor, Android 4.2 OS and 8MP camera. The device is priced at Rs. 10,990. iBall Andi uddaan Women Safety Features:
- SOS Button: It is available on back side of the phone under the camera, By pressing this button automatically blow loud siren and alerts surrounding people. It also sends automatically massage to five emergency contacts as well as start calling these five numbers and this process is repeated up to three times. It also updates your current location on your Facebook status using geo-codes.
- ICE (In Case of Emergency): The ICE app where you can add your personal details like a blood group, medical history and emergency numbers.
- Tracking (Geo-Fencing and tracking): That allows you to add your daily route on map location and it automatically sends email and SMS alerts up to 10 authorized people when you leave or enter the geo-fence. That people can track your movement on map using web dashboard.
The smartphone has 5-inch qHD IPS capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels at 220PPI. The device runs on Android v4.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system and it is powered by 1.3GHz dual-core Cortex-A7 Processor paired with 512MB RAM. It has 8-megapixel primary camera with auto focus, dual LED flash and BSI Sensor. It also armed with 5MP front facing camera with auto focus and BSI Sensor.
