Amazon is compensating UK gamers missing their Xbox One consoles to the tune of £10. A number of pre-orders weren't delivered on the launch day, leaving those affected without their consoles for the time being.
Amazon assured customers that the consoles would be delivered in 'one to two delivery days', though that's scant consolation for those who will have planned to spend the whole weekend with their new devices.
Citylink was named in more than one complaint on Amazon's customer forums, though with no huge outpouring of anger on the usual social media channels, it looks to be a fairly limited number of consoles left undelivered. Still, that'll be scant consolation to those who pre-ordered consoles as far back as May, only to be let down on the big day.
If you're still waiting for your Xbox One from Amazon, be sure to check your email, as you should have an email from the company apologising for the delay. The £10 must be spent on games (shouldn't be a problem for most Xbox One buyers) and spent by the end of March 2014 - which should cover Titanfall barring any delays.
Email or tweet us if you've been having problems getting your hands on your console from Amazon.
