Samsung drops price of Galaxy S4 mini, Galaxy S3 in India

Samsung has now dropped the prices of not one but two of its premium mid-range smartphones, namely the Galaxy S4 mini and the Galaxy S3, in India. While the S3 is now priced at Rs 25,400, the S4 mini will set you back Rs 23,360 for the 16GB model. Both devices have seen a price slash of around Rs 4,000, as the S3 and the S4 mini were earlier available for Rs 28,900 and Rs 27,990 respectively on the official Samsung online store. It is still not clear if the price cut is part of a limted festive season offer or if it is permanent. The two devices have also popped up on Flipkart with an even lower price tag. While the S3 is now available for Rs 24,900 on the online retailer, the S4 mini is now priced at Rs 22,080. This is a massive drop for the S3 in particular, which the South Korean manufacturer had launched last year in India with a hefty price tag of Rs 38,900. The S4 mini, on the other hand, was launched in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 27,990.
