Here arrives the next level of smartphones, from the American data communication and telecommunications provider Motorola, who has introduced a new modular unit, dubbed as the Project Ara, a new technology that is ready to join you at your pockets.
Heard of Phonebloks anywhere? Somebody who brought this idea to the public a few months back has now partnered with the Americans to introduce this new development to basically make the process of building, upgrading and customizing your smartphone in the open.

According to Motorola, the company has been working on the project for over an year now, as the Ara is said to be the free open hardware platform from the labs of Motorola's Advanced Technology and Projects group.
And when talking about it's design? It is called in two, the endoskeleton (endo), and the modules, where endoskeleton is the frame that holds up each of the modules, which can be any thing from it's application processor to displays, keyboards, battery, cameras, sensors or even the storage.
The basic idea behind this new concept is to be more thoughtful, expressive and open relationships between users, other developers along with their smartphones. Also to let the user decide what the phone does, how it looks like, where and what it is made with, how expensive it is and how long you are going to take care of it. The Module Developer's Kit (MDK) is waiting it's release this winter, as developers will receive invites to crack up and start building modules for this very new platform.
