Want to know when your favourite show’s episode is airing next? You will only need to head to Google Search to figure it out. But unlike previously when you would have to head on to a website to see when the next episode is due, Google will answer your questions right in Search. The newest type of search result will be a part of the right-hand side information panel that gives you quick-fire information about your topic of search. Therefore, the information about the airing of the next episode will pop up every time you search for any information on the show.
Know when your favourite series' new episode airs
The information pane will contain names and airing dates of not just episodes that are supposed to be aired in the future, but also the ones that have been aired in the past. If you search for information on series that have already been aired, it will still show you the episode number, the name and the date of airing. When you search for Breaking Bad, it will still show you information about the past episodes. The best part about this feature is that you can click on the name of the episode and it will throw up more information about it, including videos and news articles. The information about the date of airing will be accompanied by info on the series on the whole, a synopsis, ratings from TV.com and IMDB, as well as more miscellaneous information pulled from Wikipedia. There’s a clever little “remind me” button along with the search result too. Once you click on it to be reminded of a new episode, Google will push it out to you via Google Now. While this is a great way to refresh older episode memories and prepare yourself for a new one, you must beware of the spoilers!
