Protecting your eyes while using your mobile phone

Most of us have sensitive eyes when they are hit by a strong source of lights.
You may feel a little ache and sometimes the head starts to ache too.
To prevent this instance happens while you are using your phone, you should adjust
its brightness level depending on the lightning you have on your surroundings.

In daylight, setting the brightness level of your phone screen to the lowest level will
give you a blind visions on your phone. At this time, the brightness level of the screen
must be 80-100%.

In mid-light surrounding like you are inside a house where there is a little light coming from the outside, you can set the brightness level to 30-50%.

At night or where the place where there is no source of light but your phone, make sure to set the brightness level at its minimum or 0%. For me, zero percent of brightness setting on my phone during this time still brights for me. If only I could adjust it to -10% I will do so but this feature is not available on my phone.

To easily adjust the brightness level of your phone screen, you can create a shortcut of it on your home screen. If you are using an android phone, from the start screen

• Tap the menu key
• Add
• Shortcuts
• Scroll down until you see the Settings
• Then choose the Display settings

The shortcut will then goes to your home screen.
And there is no more reason not to adjust the brightness level from time to time as it needed.

Safe mode in Samsung Phones

I've noticed that the Safe mode mark on the bottom left part of my phone screen appears after my phone felt on the ground from the height of approximately one yard.

My phone always felt on the ground but this is the first time that I've encountered this case. The device may already reach the highest impact resistance that's why the Safe mode comes out.

Don't panic about this thing, all you have to do is to restart your phone by turning it off, wait some seconds then turn it on again. The Safe mode shall not display at this time.

Facebook Contacts Sync

When you login to facebook using their mobile application, you will see an option asking you to select among these choices.

Sync all (Sync data about all friends to Contacts)
- this would update and add contacts from your facebook friends contacts to your phone book contacts

Sync with existing contacts (Sync data only about friends already in Contacts)
- this would only update contacts from your facebook friends contacts to your phone book contacts

Don't Sync (Use information about friends only in Facebook)
- this won't do anything at all.

After you have chosen your choice, tap the Sync button at the upper right corner.

How to Rename Your Bluetooth Connection?

Go to your settings first

Tap Wireless and networks

Tap Bluetooth settings

check the box for Bluetooth to activate other options

Then you can now change your bluetooth's name by hitting the Device name

How to remove app in the list of your My Apps in Google Play Store

All the applications you've downloaded and installed in your android phone that came from Google Play Store will be saved in your My Apps. Even though the app is already deleted or uninstalled on your phone, this app will still appear on that area.

For some instance, you don't want that app to be displayed on the list of your My Apps.
All you have to do is to delete it from the list. You can't do this task if you're going to delete it using a browser from a PC or laptop. You need to open your My Apps using your android phone.


From the Google Play Store app

1. Touch 'All' tab at the top
2. Touch the 'X' icon at the top right side

Note: You need to uninstall first the app so you can delete it from the list

To uninstall an app

Touch any application labeled "Installed," then select "Uninstall" on the app's detail page.

To set your Camera mode into PANORAMA
Simply go to your camera app
Check this top left corner and see it's current setting

This rectangular shape indicates that we're in a SINGLE SHOT mode, tap this and select the Panorama

Noticed that the rectangle white box at the top left is now replaced by a two mountain like shaped. We are in the Panorama Mode.

To start creating a Panorama picture, tap the camera at the middle right side. Move your came in either sides you want. It can be to the right, to the left, move it upward or downward.

As you can see, there is 0/8 at the bottom. This indicates that you can take 8 different parts or shot in just one photo.

How to change the orders of your home pages?

 Have you experienced that your home pages shifted? This thing happened to me recently that's why I find out a reason why it changed without my knowledge and how can I bring it back to it's original position. If we haven't set the screen lock option, the tendency is that we unknowingly made an action that can change some of the default settings we have on our phone.

To bring back the orders of your home pages,
tap the menu key












Tap Edit.






Hold the page that you want to move,
wait until you felt that your phone vibrate

and drag it now to your desired position.

When you save photos from twitter app, where does it goes?
