After teaming up with Nokia to improve Nokia Music, Vodafone has now launched its own unique service called “Vodafone Music”. The service brings a wide range of music content, which can be accessed using an app or also via WAP browsers. Currently, the Vodafone Music app is available for Android users, but the company plans to launch apps for Windows Phone and iOS too. The key highlights of the service are audio and video streaming, audio and video downloads, search options and it also offers sharing options. The app also supports cloud sync, radio, playlist sharing and predictive search.
Vodafone Music is here
The audio and video streaming feature is free of charges but users have to pay to download content. Vodafone Music will charge Rs 3 per song and Rs 10 for five songs. Vodafone also offers unlimited download packages at Rs 99 per month, Rs 29 per week and Rs 5 per day. Disappointingly, the service works only on mobile Internet, and doesn’t support Wi-Fi. It is developed by Hungama Digital Media Entertainment. To access Vodafone Music, Android users can download the Vodafone Music app. Users can also access it by visiting the Vodafone Music store on their mobile devices or head to live.vodafone.in and click on Music link to start free music streaming on phones.
