Rockstar has announced a new major update for Grand Theft Auto Online. Dubbed the Beach Bum update, it will push the game up to version 1.06 and will be the first time anything new is added to the game. The update is set to hit systems on November 19. All earlier updates have focused on squashing some of the bugs in the game's online component. According to Rockstar, the update will add new weapons—the SNS Pistol and Broken Bottle—along with three beach vehicles and a bunch of new jobs, fresh clothing, hairstyle and tattoo options. The new jobs in the Beach Bum update include some new races, deathmatches, parachutes, last team standings, survivals and gang attacks, all going with the update's beach theme. When the update is live, the new vehicles and weapons will also be making it into the single player mode of the game. Sadly enough, the update still doesn't have the promised Content Creator, co-op heists or capture the flag yet.
