PlayStation 4 version of Diablo 3 to feature Remote Play

While Blizzard has earlier stated that the upcoming PlayStation 4 version of Diablo 3 may not have Remote Play owing to the PS Vita's display being too small, the company seems to have changed its mind. The official Diablo 3 Twitter account has confirmed that the game will indeed have Remote Play functionality, which essentially lets players stream their PS4 games on to the Vita over a Wi-Fi network.Diablo 3 had made its console debut back in September when it hit Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Since then, Blizzard boss Mike Morhaime has revealed that, counting all the versions of Diablo 3, 14 million copies of the game have been sold. Currently, the company is working on an expansion pack for Diablo 3, dubbed Reaper of Souls. The release date for the expansion pack is currently unknown, but the PS4 version will be getting it bundled with the main game.

Recently, Blizzard released a trailer for Reaper of Souls that showed off some of the new features that will be making it into the game. Chief among them is the new Adventure Mode, which lets players take on bounties to kill specific demons in different parts of the game's worlds. Other features showcased in the trailer include an improvement to the Paragon system, the new Mystic artisan, transmogrification and enchanting.Reaper of Souls is expected to be available some time in 2014, and it will be bringing about quite a few changes, including the much-awaited closure of the auction house system. The expansion pack will be adding a bunch of new things, such as the new Crusader character class, several new enemy types, an increased level cap to 70, a new act and new big bad Malthael, who presumably likes to reap souls.
