Chrome for Android had received the Autofill update earlier in April, and it now comes for iOS users. Google will start rolling out the Chrome for iOS update today, states the official Chrome blog. The update allows iOS users to sync Autofill data between their mobile devices and the web. iOS users who use Chrome on a desktop machine will be able to sync data between their iDevices and the desktop. The update will also let users sync passwords across devices. All users need to do is sign in with the same Google account.
Chrome for iOS gets Autofill
Google also makes Autofill on online forms a lot faster on Android devices. Moreover, merchants can implement a new feature which enables customers in Chrome for Android to fill in forms using Google Wallet or Autofill data. This is said to make online purchases faster on mobile devices. Chrome for Android had received the autocomplete form-filling function earlier this year. It allows users to access the form filled on the desktop from their Android mobile devices. For instance, if you are filling a form on your desktop, key in all the essential details and save the form. You can then access it instantly from your mobile device. If you make changes on one platform (say, desktop), those changes will reflect while accessing the form on another platform (mobile).
