Choose Best Windows For My PC, Which Windows To Install On My Computer

It is very important to know which version of windows our computer hardware can install. And sometime we install later versions of windows and our computer runs slow. So here I am giving min. system requirements for all versions of windows.

1.Windows 8

 

 Windows 8 Hardware Requirements 

 

Processor: 1 GHz or faster processor

Memory(RAM): 1 GB RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit) 

Hard Disk: 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit) 

Graphics: DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

 

2.Windows 7

  

 Windows 7 Hardware Requirements 

Processor: 1 GHz or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor

Memory(RAM): 1 GB of RAM (32-bit)/2 GB of RAM (64-bit)

Hard Disk: 16 GB of available disk space (32-bit)/20 GB (64-bit)

Graphics: DirectX 9 graphics device with Windows Display Driver Model 1.0 or higher driver

 

3.Windows Vista 

  Windows Vista Hardware Requirements 

 

Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor

Memory(RAM): 1 gigabyte (GB) of system memory (512 megabytes (MB) for Home Basic) 

Hard Disk: 15 GB of available space (20 GB for Home Basic)

Graphics: Support for DirectX 9 graphics with WDDM and 128 MB of graphics memory (32 MB for Home Basic) 

4.Windows XP

Processor: 233 MHz CPU 

Memory(RAM): 64 MB of RAM (may limit performance and some features) 

Hard Disk: 1.5 GB of available hard disk space 

Graphics: Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher-resolution video adapter and monitor

 

5.Windows 2000

Windows 2000 Hardware Requirements

Memory(RAM): 8 MB (really 16 MB) 

Hard Disk: min OS is 30 MB (really 500 MB)

Graphics: No special graphics requirements
