'World's smallest ILC camera' Panasonic GM1's images leaked

Images of the upcoming Panasonic GM1 have leaked, giving us a closer look at the camera even as the rumoured launch date nears. The camera is touted to be the world’s smallest interchangeable lens camera, and the leaked shots of it seem to do full justice to the title it may stake claim to.

The pictures have been leaked thanks to Digicame-info and looks pretty much like it will be pocket-sized. The Panasonic GM1 is rumoured to be the same size as the company’s LF1. It will still manage to pack the same 16MP of Micro Four Thirds sensor that is founding the Panasonic GX7. Petapixel had earlier reported that the camera will be using a 100 percent electronic shutter instead of a mechanical one entirely. The camera body is rumoured to be made out of magnesium-alloy and reminiscent of the GX7. That’s not all, the leaked photos have also managed to give us a look at the 12-32mm f/3.5-5.6 lens that is supposed to be all metal and as thin as Panasonic’s 14mm pancake lens. 43 Rumours says that it is supposed to be the “highest build and image quality of all standard kit zooms on the mirrorless market.”

The only other rumour that seems to be seeing clouds of doubt clear up right now is that the price tag attached to the camera and kit lens combo will be somewhere around 699 Euro. The launch is supposed to take place sometime this week and seems like a mouth-watering prospect thanks to the details that are popping up.
