Samsung has now unveiled the latest additions to its F9000 series of Ultra High-Definition (UHD) television units. The series, which currently has the 85-inch 85S9 UHD TV, comes with two new models, a 55-inch and a 65-inch variant. The company claims that the new additions will offer over eight million pixels and a resolution that is four times higher (4K) than full HD.The new televisions, according to the company, come with a minimalist design with a narrow bezel, a metal stand and a metallic finish. The design also integrates built-in speakers and subwoofers that are hidden from view and offer 70W sound output. Also packed in is the One Connect Box that gets rid of excessive cable clutter as it pulls in all the connectors from multimedia players in one place. The new series comes with an LED panel, complemented by the Quadmatic Picture Engine, which adapts the source image, eliminates visual noise and improves the detail and sharpness of the image before up-scaling the picture to be displayed in UHD resolution.

And if that wasn’t enough, the product also comes with a built-in camera, video chat capabilities as well as support for wireless content sharing with mobile devices through screen mirroring. The new products, though, come with a pretty steep price tag. The new 55-inch model will set users back by a whopping Rs 3.29 lakh while the 65-inch variant will cost you Rs 4.39 lakh. The 85-inch 85S9, which was launched in June, comes with a price tag of approximately Rs 27 lakh.
