Oppo, essentially an innovation house is better known as a DVD and now Blu-ray player manufacturer in this part of the world. And considering the kind of popularity that they enjoy they must be pretty good at what they are doing. We have had our experience regarding the Oppo BDP-103 Blu-ray player and can definitely vouch for the same. Oppo Digital has now announced a new BDP-103D player wherein the ‘D’ stands for ‘Darbee’ edition.

Oppo Digital has also announced two new products which rather came as a surprise to the entire AV community. By early next year, they will be launching a pair of headphones named PM-1 and a headphone amplifier named HA-1. In Oppo PM-1, ‘PM’ stands for Planar Magnetic, wherein the headphones use an FEM optimised magnet system with very high energy neo-dymium magnets.

It also boasts of maximum sensitivity across the entire radiating area. On the other hand the HA-1 headphone amplifier offers a Class A balance power amplifier section with ESS 9018 Sabre 32 Reference DAC. With this the HA-1 also doubles up as an asynchronus DAC, a stereo pre-amp, a digital audio dock for smart phones and also a Bluetooth audio transport. Quite a powerful device we must say.
The prices for all the three products will be announced very soon. The products will be brought in India by Jay Multimedia and will be available for sale with a number of resellers across the country.
