Nokia unveils Lumia 1320 budget phablet with 720p display for $339

Besides the Lumia 1520, Nokia has also announced Lumia 1320, another Windows Phone 8-running phablet. On this one, there’s no 1080p display. Instead, Nokia has gone for a 720p panel, naturally to reduce the price of the phone. Speaking of, the Lumia 1320, will be priced at $339, which puts it in the range of the current Lumia 625. At that price, the Lumia 1320 is sure looking like a great proposition for those looking at a large screen Windows Phone device.

In keeping with its modest price tag, the Lumia 1320 has a dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM, and a pretty basic 5-megapixel camera. Like the 1520, this one too runs the latest version of Windows Phone 8 and benefits from the extra row of live tile icons on the Start Screen. We are yet to see whether there are any extra software features that Nokia has added to the Lumia 1320 on top of the stock Windows Phone experience. The 1320 will be sold in orange, yellow, black, and white, with the first batches hitting stores in China and Vietnam, followed by a staggered roll out around the world. The Lumia 1320 will be available worldwide by the year end. This is a developing story and we’ll be updating the details as soon as we get more official information.
