LG's G Flex curved smartphone might not yet have been officially revealed, but that hasn't stopped an Argentinian TV channel from getting a brief hands-on look at a pre-production sample.
Telefe Noticias broadcast a news segment with the phone last night, showing off the 6in curved display which bends on a different axis to Samsung's Galaxy Round. It might not fit comfortably in the pocket, but when held in landscape mode it mimics the wrap-around view seen in curved OLED TVs like the Samsung S9C.
The handset appears to use the same rear-facing power and volume buttons as LG's G2 smartphone, and although no specifications were listed, it is thought the G Flex will share the same 13-megapixel rear camera too.
According to journalist Federico Ini, who managed to grab some hands-on photos following the phone's TV appearance, the G Flex is only planned to launch in South Korea. It should appear next month, but may never make it to Europe.
