You’re not the only one who gets Monday blues. Facebook caught the Monday fever last night too. The service faced global outage last night, and was unable to let users update their status or surf the website for a few hours. The service went down at around 7PM IST last evening and was partially patched up by 7:30PM IST then. Users complained about the inability to not just update their status but also like and share certain posts. When one would try to update the status, an error would pop up, stating, “There was a problem updating your status. Please try again in a few minutes.”
Down again
In a statement acknowledging the disruption, Facebook said, “Earlier this morning, while performing some network maintenance, we experienced an issue that prevented some users from posting to Facebook for a brief period of time. We resolved the issue quickly, and we are now back to 100%. We're sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused.” Meanwhile, Twitter was a abuzz with Facebook’s downtime.
