Aircel introduces 10p/minute local calling packs in Delhi

For its customers in Delhi, Aircel has launched two new lucrative calling packs. With these, the telco claims to have slashed its local calling rates for prepaid users in the capital by about 90 percent by offering calling rates as low as 10p/minute. The first plan is priced at Rs 27, which offers all local calls at 10p/minute for the first 100 minutes, and after that the price is increased to 40paise/minute. This plan is valid for 21 days. The second plan is priced at Rs 11, which allows Aircel-to-Aircel local calls at 10p/min. This plan has a validity of 15 days. Needless to say, both plans are aimed at students looking for ultra-affordable calling rates. So far, these plans are available only in Delhi, and there is no word on Aircel offering them in other regions.
