Lava iris 405 Review and Specifications




Lava Iris 405  has nearly the same specifications as on the Lava iris 455, but with some trimmed features and a low price tag of Rs. 6,000 Approx. The 405 handset is powered by a dual core processor. The Lava Iris 405 is 10.6 mm thick and powered by 1GHz dual core processor (MediaTek). The handset can record full HD videos at 15 fps. Other features are 3G, Wi-Fi, micro USB, 3.5 mm jack, Bluetooth and GPS. The 1400 mAh battery that handset houses gives a standby time of up to 150 hours and a talktime of up to 6 hours.

The iris 405 is a nicely build phone with a 4 inch WVGA display it is nice to hold, gets two camera a 5mp Autofocus at rear and 0.3mp front for video calling it’s a dual sim dual standby phone in which one sim support 3g while the other support 2g.

Storage-
It comes with 4G B(1.8GB available) of internal storage, which can be further expended up to 32 GB through a microSD card. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS

OS and Apps
The LAVA Iris 405 comes with Android 4.1 jelly bean which is upgradeable though FOTA – Over the Air Software Upgrade its comes with a good number of pre-installed mobile apps like Saavn, Fusion, Hike and Face book  users can also access Lava Zone, which is Lava’s own application store to download videos, songs, and wallpapers.

Multimedia
Coming it Multimedia it’s got a good 5 megapixel  camera which take a sharp pictures in daylight but the camera quality is not good in dim light its vga front camera is just ok for video chat it’s not made to take photo or shoot video
It also has a FM radio and support all popular audio and music format.

Battery and Verdict
The lava Iris comes with a 1400mAH battery which gives a back up of 6 hours of 3G talk time it’s also gives a 150 hours standby time but under normal use its doesn’t last for more than 3 hours This is an excellent mobile for an amount of Rs.6000/- the only dis-advantage of this mobile is battery and a night photography but considering the price at which is comes it’s not a bad deal.
