Hans off! Club shut Dor on Lewandowski

Robert Lewandowski

BORUSSIA DORTMUND general manager Hans-Joachim Watzke has slammed reports that Robert Lewandowski is heading for a move out of Germany.
The highly-rated Pole looked set to follow Mario Goetze and switch to domestic rivals Bayern Munich but his club put the brakes on the move.
With a Bundesliga switch ruled out until his contract expires in 2014, Chelsea were set to battle the two Manchester clubs and Real Madrid for the hitman.
But club bigwig Watzke has warned off any potential bidders for the 24-year-old.
He said: “Robert will definitely be playing for Borussia Dortmund next season. We need this security to be able to plan for the season.”
Lewandowski has scored 54 goals in 98 Bundesliga appearances for Dortmund and became the first player to score four goals in a Champions League semi-final when he destroyed Real Madrid.
