Now that you are rooted, installing a custom recovery would be a pretty good idea if you plan on flashing custom ROMs. Most of the times, this custom recovery would the ever popular ClockworkMod Recovery, but sometimes there are other recoveries that may come from different developers but offer pretty much the same custom recovery functions. In the case of the Samsung Infuse 4G here, we are going to install ClockworkMod Recovery although you could try installing 3e Recovery, which could be a slightly complex process.

I. Before You Begin
1. While chances are slim that you will lose anything, back up anything important just in case you run into problems.
2. You will need to be rooted before you can work with this procedure. Use our guide on the same to help you if you aren’t already rooted.
III. Installing ClockworkMod Recovery on the AT&T Infuse 4G
1. Go to the Play Store on your device and install ROM Manager. Alternatively, you can install the same via the desktop version of Play.
2. Open up the ROM Manager app.
3. Click on Flash ClockworkMod Recovery.
4. Select Infuse 4G as the device you are using.
5. Grant superuser access when prompted.
6. Wait for the ROM Manager to finish installing CWM and reboot.
You have now successfully installed ClockworkMod Recovery on your Infuse!!
