Nokia Facebook C7 contest results delayed - suspicion of fraud?

In case you did not know, Nokia held a contest with substantial prizes.

Nokia C7 contest

The top 5 contestants would get 21 Nokia C7 smartphones. The idea of the contest was to get as many votes as you can from people on Facebook. So the top 5 most social candidates were given 21 C7's each, one for themselves and 20 to shared with their voters. So the contest has ended on January 4th, 2011, but the results are still nowhere to be found. You may ask yourself "Why didn't Nokia publish the results yet?". Well, here's an alternative.

I noticed on January 3rd that the guy I voted for Taimas Arbabi (from DailyMobile) was in the second place with around 9200 votes. He was 400 votes behind the first place and 200 votes ahead of 3rd place. The funny thing is that at the end of the day, the top 5 had drastically changed leaving Taimas on 5th, and with a new top 3. The funny thing is that the current top 3 got between 2000 and 4000 votes, maybe more, in less than 24 hours. Taimas had around 9400 votes while the current top 3 were in the 12000 range. That doesn't sound right does it? How can you get around 7000-8000 during the whole contest period, and get the rest of 4000 votes in less than 24 hours? Something happened, and I'm willing to bet that some greedy contestants resorted to automatic Facebook account creation and then voting for themselves. So my best guess is that Nokia is still investigating this thing. They may disqualify some of the contestants or may even cancel the contest if the fraud goes too deep.

Am I right Nokia?
