How To Install CyanogenMod 10.2 In Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300

Samsung Galaxy S4 and Nexus 4 already got Android 4.3/cm10.2 upgrade, so the child of Samsung Galaxy S4 (i.e., Samsung Galaxy S3) also got Android 4.3 upgrade by Developers. Android 4.3 offers you many things like new Statusbar, new Layout, Fast and Smooth, more multitasking and other new updates. But why Android 4.3 only? It is CyanogenMod 10.2 (JellyBean 4.3) ROM which offers you features of JellyBean (4.3) and of CyanogenMod. CyanogenMod ROMs are the best ROMs for Android, they are more smooth, fast, very much customizable. You get DSP manager which can change your beats, pitch of sound and some other effects. One of the best features is Theme chooser, you can choose over 1 lac themes on Play Store for CyanogenMod, but CM10.2 is new so their might be less themes, the theme changer is not available in any AOSP ROM but in CM, you get it! CyanogenMod Options, it's the best thing about CyanogenMod, you can change overscroll type, colors, you can edit statusbar and you get other SUPERB featurers. Some other features are also good but we won't discuss it, anyway, let's see CyanogenMod 10.2 for Samsung Galaxy S3.

How To install CM 10.2 in Samsung Galaxy S3

1) Download and move .zip file to your SD card. Don't extract it, otherwise it won't work!
2) Reboot to ClockWorkMod Recovery, you can do this manually or by applications available on Google Play Store.
3) Go to Backup and Restore and make a Nandroid backup.
4) Wipe the user data from ClockWorkMod recovery.
5) Format the system by going to advance and selecting format /system. Press back button.
6) Now, go to flash a zip menu and select CyanogenMod 10.2 zip that you just transferred to your SD card.   Now, click on YES and let it take time to flash.
7) Now flash GApps zip from SD card (same as you flashed CM 10.2 zip!)
8) Reboot

You are now in the world of CyanogenMod 10.2! With the latest Android version, Android 4.3! 

Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 might boot with Android 4.3

Hey Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 users, as we know that Samsung got Android 4.3 update (leaked), now it's even rumored that Samsung Galaxy S3 users and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 users will get Android 4.3 Update from Samsung. Google has not released Android 4.3 update officially but has sent the sources to Samsung for compiling Android 4.3 for Samsung Galaxy S4 and other devices, Galaxy S4's firmware of Android 4.3 was leaked and was released by Sammobiles, I actually don't know what actually happened. Tipsters from India's Samsung R&D said that Samsung are working on Android 4.2.2 and 4.3 update for Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2. Both the devices are still popular and many many people are buying Galaxy S3 even today. If the news is real then why Samsung are wasting their time on Android 4.2.2? Why don't they release just Android 4.3 as an update and forget about Android 4.2.2 because no one will use that, everyone will be using latest Android that will be Android 4.3 OS.

It looks that the update is delayed. It looks that the update might be rolling on November or December (Don't worry, it's 2013!). If Android 4.3 is released then the developers will compile Android 4.3 even faster than official Samsung developers. Some saying that Android 4.3 will be released on July-August but it seems that Google will release after August because it was rumored that Android 4.3 will be rolling on May 2013 but it's much time. We cannot wait! As soon the Samsung will release Android 4.3 for Galaxy Note 2, there will be much rumor so you will get to know that is it released or not, but they will not release officially until Google introduces us the Android 4.3. Samsung Galaxy S4 got update un-officially and users are enjoying that update.

So I think you need to wait for some time, approximately 2-3 months for getting official Android 4.3 update for your Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Till that time, you can enjoy CyanogenMod 10.1 for your device, it offers much features and it is based on LATEST (officially) Android version that is 4.2.2 OS.

I got a chance to experience the much hyped smartphone - Samsung Galaxy S III, at the training session arranged by Samsung at The Claridges Hotel at Delhi. After the success of the two great smartphones, Samsung Galaxy S II and Samsung Galaxy Note, I was curious to know, what the South Korean smartphone giant is going to bring in Samsung Galaxy S III. Thought of sharing the great features the device promises.

The advertisement of Samsung Galaxy S III tells it all..It understands you, shares what’s in your heart, keeps track of your loved ones, recognizes who you are, and follows your every move… Yes, it is more than a “Smartphone”, I may call it an “Extra Smart phone”. As the tagline says “Designed for humans and Inspired by nature”, Samsung has taken care to slip in the nature element in its every feature... The pebble like exterior and nature-inspired UI and ringtones are designed to give a soothing and relaxing experience to the users.

4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 is designed to give you fantastic color reproduction, vividness, and smoothness while you experience movies, photos, or texts on your SIII. The Corning Gorilla Glass 2, which is 20 times slimmer than the earlier Gorilla glass offers better protection to the handset from scratches.  Samsung claims that there is a 16% improvement in the power consumption, when compared with S II.
