Nokia has officially launched its new Asha 500 Dual SIM phone in India. It is available for sale on Online Retailer Infibeam.com for Rs.4649. The smartphone comes with decent specifications. It has 2.8-inch QVGA TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels at 143ppi pixel density. It also comes with Multi-touch support with up to 2 fingers and LCD Transflective display technology. The device runs on Nokia Asha Software Platform paired with Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) Support with dual stand-by and MicroSIM slot instead regular SIM slot. The device equipped with Swipe User-Interface to enhance user-experience.
The Nokia Asha 500 houses 2-megapixel rear camera with 4x Digital zoom. It has 64MB RAM and 32GB Expandable memory with MicroSD. The device does not have internal memory but it comes with 4GB microSD card build-in. Connectivity features are 2G (EDGE), WI-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, MicroUSB 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack.
