How to hard reset:
Warning! All data will be lost!
1.Turn off your phone
2.Push together volume up + power key
3.Choose "English" and push power key to confirm
4.Choose "wipe data/factory reset" with volume keys and push power to confirm
5.Choose "yes" with volume keys and push power to confirm
6.Wait until format ends
7.Select "reboot" and push power key to confirm
8.Wait until the phone restarts

Any ideas as to why when i press the volume up and power button simultaneously i cant get to the reset menu? My phone has been turning on to the 'Alcatel One Touch Idol Mini' screen and freezing up. When i follow instructions above all that happens is it switches off then goes back to this same screen, then repeats that over and over. Totally regretting buying a phone you cant take the battery out of!
