Xolo has now quietly added a new device to its portfolio. A new smartphone from the company has now been spotted on the official website, titled the Xolo Q2000. While there are no details yet about the launch date or price of the handset, the company has already put up the official specifications and features.
A quick look reveals that the new device comes with comes with dual-SIM support, sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels and pixel density of 267ppi. Under the hood, the handset comes with a quad-core MT6589M-W processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM as well as a 357MHz PowerVR SGX544 GPU. The Q2000 comes with 8GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. The handset measures 156x77.8x9.8mm and weighs in at 180g. The device runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2 and is powered by a 2600mAh battery.

In terms of photography, the device comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera with a BSI 2 Sensor, auto focus and flash support as well as a 2-megapixel front shooter. The camera also comes with image stabilisation, HDR, low light enhancement and vertical and horizontal Panorama capture. The Q2000 packs in most of the usual suspects like an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor and a proximity sensor. On the connectivity front, the handset comes with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and A-GPS support. Xolo has also packed in a free flip cover and a USB OTG cable.
Xolo has mentioned TDD-LTE in the official specifications. However we can confirm that the MT6589W chipset does not support LTE, so this could be an error on Xolo's part.
