Stealth Inc coming to iOS devices next week

Fiendishly difficult stealth platformer Stealth Inc is making its way to iOS devices. It is set to hit the iOS App Store on November 14, and will be able to run on every iPhone from the 4S onwards and every iPad since the iPad 2. The developers haven’t revealed the pricing for the game yet. The game puts players in the role of a clone trying to escape a deadly facility that’s been designed from the ground up with one purpose: to extinguish your fragile little life. With no weapons or armour, being seen means an instant and bloody death – only the fastest and sneakiest will make it to the exit of each of the games challenging levels without being mangled by the facility’s security system.

The iOS version of the stealthy puzzle platformer features all eighty original levels, music and graphics of the PlayStation version of the game along with a brand new touch-based control system, Game Center integration and support for leaderboards. Alongside the ten-hour main campaign, over 1,800 community levels are also available as a one off in-app purchase.Stealth Inc started out life as Stealth Bastard, a freeware PC game designed by Curve Studios Design Director, Jonathan Biddle. Over the last two years, Curve has been refining the original game, adding new levels and features to the PC and PlayStation releases. The iOS version carries over the core gameplay of the original while making some changes to the game for smaller devices.“We’ve been talking about bringing Stealth to iOS ever since we released the PC version back in 2012,” said Biddle. “What we didn’t want to do is rush to release it just for the sake of it having it out there, so we’ve spent a lot of time tweaking the controls and making sure the game plays well and looks beautiful on a smaller screen.”
