Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare is an FPS made using DICE’s Frostbite 3 engine, which impressed us in Battlefield 4. It will feature vibrant and colourful worlds, keeping with the Plants vs Zombies art style, and will have more than 10 maps and three game modes, two of which will feature 12vs12 competitive multiplayer. The competitive modes are named Garden and Graveyards and Team Vanquish. The third mode will have co-op gameplay, and is named Garden Ops.The Xbox One version of the game features two extra game modes, including local split-screen co-op and Boss Mode. In split-screen co-op, players can team up with a friend on the couch to fight against an endless horde of zombies. In Boss Mode, players can use the Kinect or a SmartGlass device in any of the other gameplay modes to support their teams, much like Commander Mode in Battlefield 4. Players have a top-down view of the battlefield and can help out their teammates with intel, health drops, revive stations and explosive artillery strikes.
