HTC One Max headed to India next week, priced at Rs 56,000

Last month, a little digging showed us that the HTC One Max may be priced at Rs 45,999. A new report suggests that the device may come with an even heftier price tag. Faisal Siddiqui, Country Head, HTC India tells Business Standard that the One Max will be launched for a price of Rs 56,000 in India next week. Along with the device, one can also expect two accessories, namely the HTC One MiniPlus and Phone Finder, for Rs 5,000 and Rs 2,500 respectively.

Faisal further said that the company is also considering new models of smartphones running Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 operating system. “The existing Windows Phone models were launched a year ago and have reached the end of their life,” according to the executive. However, he hasn’t mentioned when we can expect these new devices. HTC has previously launched Windows 8X and Windows 8S models running Microsoft’s mobile OS for the mobile market.
