HTC has officially announced its budget Android Smartphone called as Desire 501 in Taiwan Market. the device comes with average specifications and features. It is available for at NT$ 9900, which is equal to Rs.21,000 INR. Company does not reveal launching date in India yet.
It has 4.3-inch TFT Capacitive touchscreen with a resolution 480 x 800 pixels at 217PPI and Multi-touch support. it runs on Google Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Operating System paired with HTC Sense User-interface. It is powered by 1.15GHz Dual-Core NovaThore Processor with support 1GB of RAM.
The HTC Desire 501 houses 8-megapixel rear camera with Auto focus, LED flash, BSI Sensor, F/2.0 aperture and HD video recording. It also armed with 2.1MP front camera for video calls. The device has 8GB Internal Memory and Expandable Memory up to 32GB with MicroSD. It is 9.8mm thick and weight 130 grams. Connectivity features are 3G, WI-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi direct, hotspot, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0, builn-in NFC, microUSB v2.0 and GPS with A-GPS Support.
