While there is still no news as to when Google’s recently launched Nexus 5 will be officially made available in India, it looks like the device has made its way to the grey market here. The 16GB version of the handset is currently available in black for a slightly hefty price tag of Rs 37,500, according to market sources. Currently, the Play Store listing of the handset stands at Rs 28,999 for the 16GB model, while the 32GB variant will set users back Rs 32,999. The official store still says that the model will be “coming soon” although earlier reports have hinted at the device coming to the market by the end of November. The Nexus 5 was last seen popping up on online retailer iBhejo, which is selling the 16GB version for Rs 31,807. As the device is being sourced from the US, the estimated delivery time stands at 7-15 days, although there is still no word on how many models the site has in stock.

A quick look at the specification sheet of the Nexus 5 shows that the handset packs a 5-inch Full HD display, sporting a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels at 445ppi, and protected by Corning Glass 3. Under the hood, the device comes with a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM.
