BSNL has teamed up with Pantel to launch three new phones and a tablet in the Indian market. The new devices fall in the price range between Rs 1,799 and Rs 7,999. With these new devices, BSNL aims at bringing Internet access to even users of feature phones.To begin with, the telco has launched an entry-level feature phone called “Bharat Phone” at Rs 1,799. BSNL has also included 1,200 minutes of free talk time with the Bharat Phone. The phone sports a 3-inch display and supports Internet browsing – access to emails, social media and so on. It comes with dual SIM mode along with dual SIM standby. The Penta Bharat phone is equipped with a 1.3 megapixel rear camera, 1,800 mAh battery and 64MB internal storage.

Besides the phone, the company has also pulled the wraps off the 6.5-inch PentaSmart PS650. The phablet features OGS design and supports 3G connectivity. It is powered by a 1.2GHz A7 dual-core processor with 512MB RAM, and a MALI 400MP GPU. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and also packs in 4GB internal storage, 2500 mAh battery and 2 megapixel rear camera. The PentaSmart PS650 is priced at Rs 7,999. Next in the lineup is the 5-inch PentaSmart PS501priced at Rs 6,999. It comes with 15GB of cloud storage and is pre-loaded with anti-virus protection. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.2GHz A7 Dual-Core CPU coupled with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The smartphones also includes a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front camera for video conferencing. Lastly, the company has also launched the Penta T-Pad WS707C priced at Rs 6,999. The talet comes with a dual-core CPU with 512MB RAM. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and packs 4GB of internal storage.
