Android 4.4 KitKat OTA update now available for Google Nexus 4

If you are a Nexus 4 user, here’s a piece of good news for you. Google has finally begun rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat over the air (OTA) updates for last year's flagship. The update will hit devices gradually as usual, but if you want to check it first hand, you can head over to Settings>About phone to confirm. According to AndroidCentral, several users have started getting the new KRT16S build pushed on to their Nexus 4s. The 238MB update has been reportedly pushed by Google only after killing some potential bugs.

Earlier today, Motorola announced that it has begun rolling out the Android KitKat for its Verizon Moto X users, and will soon reach other Moto X users across the world. Android KitKat roll out has also begun for the newer Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 models. This means, within three weeks from its launch, the Android KitKat is being made available for most of the Nexus devices. Some of us (read me) still wish the newest Android flavour also makes its way to the Galaxy Nexus though
