Publisher 2K Games has announced the release date for the first major expansion pack that's going to hit last year's tactical strategy game XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Dubbed XCOM: Enemy Within, the expansion pack is hitting the PC version on November 15. There's no word yet on the console release, but it shouldn't be too far off. While the PC version will be available separately through digital means (Steam), the expansion pack is apparently too big for such a release on the consoles. As a result, Firaxis' Senior Producer Garth DeAngelis had stated that the console versions will be getting the expansion pack through the upcoming XCOM: Commander's Edition.
