For anyone who grew up in India in the 1990’s, there was no greater pleasure than to watch Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar bat with his trademark finesse and almost-textbook shots on the cricketing field. With his 200th Test match impending, the Little Master has finally announced that he’s hanging up his boots post the matchOf course, while not a lot of people saw this coming, Tendulkar’s retirement announcement has caused a deluge of tweets and posts on Facebook and Twitter within the hour of his announcement.
