Volition has announced the release date for the first major DLC for the company's recent completely insane open-world game Saints Row 4. The DLC, titled Enter the Dominatrix, will be available on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 4 on October 23, and it will be available on the respective platforms' digital storefronts (Steam for PC) for approximately Rs 600. Those who picked up the Saints Row 4 Season Pass will get the DLC automatically.

Enter the Dominatrix, the name of which is a pun on the movie Enter the Matrix and the term Dominatrix, was originally a canceled expansion pack for 2011's Saints Row The Third. It was, however, reincarnated as a DLC for Saints Row 4. It is essentially an alternate take on the main storyline of the game. Instead of just being trapped in the virtual world, the Saints are instead trapped in a virtual world run by a mad (and possibly homicidal) AI known as the Dominatrix.In order to thwart her nefarious schemes and escape to the real world, the Saints will have to counter her army of gimps and sex-workers, shut down her demented simulation, and make unlikely allies along the way. According to Volition, the DLC includes behind-the-scenes commentary and the return of some fan-favourite characters.Saints Row 4 was originally released back in August. The PC version is available on Steam for $49.99, which roughly translates to a hefty Rs 3,060. The retail version of the game seems to be available for pre-order on online shopping websites, but it doesn’t seem to have a release date for India just yet.
