Google has introduced the LG built Nexus 5, available in 16GB and 32GB variations. The Nexus 5 will officially be the first smartphone to ship with Android’s latest flavour, version 4.4 KitKat. Google has also announced the India pricing for the smartphone. The 16GB variant of the Nexus 5 is set to cost Rs 28,999 and the 32GB variant will cost Rs 32,999Following a series of specifications and image leaks, Google has finally announced its flagship device, the successor to the much-loved Nexus 4. The phone is already available for sale – unlocked and minus contract – in US, Canada, UK, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan and Korea. The phone is up on Indian page of the Google Play Store with a coming soon tag.

The phone sports a 5-inch Full HD display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with a 1920x1080 resolution at 445 ppi. The device weighs in at a light 130-gram. Nexus 5 is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM.There’s not much to right home about the Nexus 5’s camera, since it houses a 8MP primary and 1.3MP front-facing camera. Google has said that the Nexus 5 comes loaded with a new advanced lens that captures more light for brighter night and sharper action shots. It also allows for optical image stabilisation for non-shaky images. The camera also comes with a new HDR+ mode that automatically snaps a rapid burst of photos, combining them for the best possible single shot.Take a quick look at the Nexus 5’s features:
