Microsoft unveils new Xbox 360 holiday bundles

Microsoft has announced a bunch of new bundles for the Xbox 360, dubbed the Holiday Value Bundles. These are the 250GB Core Bundle for Rs 24,990, the 250GB Xbox 360 with Kinect Bundle for Rs 34,990 and the 4GB Xbox 360 with Kinect Bundle for Rs 26,990. All three of these bundles are expected to hit stores on October 12.The first one, which used to be called the Hardcore Bundle, will get you a 250GB Xbox 360 along with four AAA games—Darksiders 2, Batman: Arkham City, Halo Reach and Gears of War 3. Out of the three bundles, this one seems to be the best, since it doesn't unnecessarily include the Kinect, which bumps up the other bundles' prices.

The second bundle will get you a 250GB Xbox 360, a Kinect and a bunch of games, including Minecraft, Kinect Adventures, Dance Central 2 and Kinect Sports.

The third one will get you a 4GB Xbox 360 and a Kinect, along with a copy of FIFA 14, a choice between Kinect Adventures, Kinect Disneyland, YourShape Fitness Evolved 2013 or Fruit Ninja, and a copy of Forza Motorsport 4. It looks like Microsoft really wants you to use the Kinect with these bundles. At the announcement, Microsoft’s Anshu Mor said, "This Diwali, we wanted to give you another reason to celebrate. So there it is -- FIFA 14, all yours, absolutely free with the Xbox 360 4GB Kinect Bundle. Also in the bundle, consumers would get three additional Kinect blockbuster games making it the most perfect festive purchase to enjoy with your friends and family."
