Karbonn has launched four new smartphones for the festive season – A16, A35, A90, A99. All four devices are Android-based and support dual SIMs (GSM + GSM). The Karbonn A35 is the most expensive among the four with a price tag that reads Rs 7,490. It sports a 5-inch qHD IPS display, following the trend of larger displays. The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz processor coupled with 512MB RAM. All of this is fuelled by an 1800 mAh battery. On the camera front, it gets a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone also gets 4GB built-in storage.

The next is the Karbonn A16, priced at Rs 6,490. It has a smaller 4-inch display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM. It gets the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean flavour and comes equipped with a 1350 mAh battery. The A16 also gets 4GB on-storage but it is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. The A99 has been priced almost similar to the A16 at Rs 6,590. Needless to say, most of the specs are same too. The A99 is fitted with a 4-inch WVGA display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. Under the hood, it comes with a similar 1.3GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. The A99 also gets 4GB internal memory that is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. The smartphone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean but gets a slightly better 1400 mAh battery. The Karbonn A90 carries the lowest price tag among the four and has been priced at Rs 5,490. It runs on the older Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Sporting a 4-inch IPS display, the smartphone is powered by a 1GHz processor and 512MB RAM. Karbonn has included a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 1400 mAh battery.
