HTC launches 4.3-inch One mini in India for Rs 36,790

HTC has now launched the smaller version of its flagship smartphone in India, the One mini. The device has now been priced at Rs 36,790. The handset was last in the news when it appeared online last week for pre-order, with an estimated price tag of Rs 37,299. At the time, it looked like the company was planning a launch soon, and HTC has not disappointed in the matter. The handset was first unveiled back in July, and comes with the same design as its bigger sibling. It also boasts the same BoomSound speakers, although they are a bit smaller than the ones seen on the HTC One. A quick look at the specifications sheet shows that the device comes with a 4.3-inch S-LCD3 display packing a pixel resolution of 720x1280 and a pixel density of 341ppi. The device measures 132x 63x 9.2mm and weighs in at 128grams. Internally, the handset comes with a 1.4GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC coupled with 1GB of RAM. The One mini comes with 16GB of internal memory and does not offer any scope for expansion, more's the pity. The smartphone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with the company’s trademark Sense 5 UI baked on top, including HTC’s BlinkFeed UI. On the camera front, the handset comes with the same Ultrapixel camera packing a 4-megapixel lens seen on the One.
