HP launches Pavilion x2 hybrid PC, three new business laptops in India

Computer maker HP has refreshed it current portfolio in India with a few new products. Chief among the new entrants is the company’s hybrid HP Pavilion x2 for the personal computer segment. Other products that have been launched for the commercial sector in the country, according to reports, include the Elitebook Revolve 810, the Probook 430 as well as the Elitebook 800. A quick look at the specs of the x2 reveals that the device can be used both as a notebook and as a tablet. HP is offering the new device in both 11-inch and 13-inch variants, although it is still not clear which version will be available for Indian users. Coming with a dual battery, the device promised a battery life of up to 17 hours at a stretch, according to the company’s head of commercial PC category, Sunish Raghavan.


The new device also comes with two cameras which come with 2-megapixel sensors each. There is no mention of the official price at which the new device will be available in the Indian market yet. There is also no official word on how much the three new business laptops will cost in India.

While talking about the new products, the HP executive said, "HP is happy to bring to market the next generation of PCs that help people connect, share and create in ways they never imagined. People today demand extreme mobility and performance for their computing devices."The company had recently rolled out a few other products for the market. The list comes with the likes of the SlateBook x2 and the HP Split x2. Both devices offer the full functionality of a notebook with a removable screen. While the Slatebook x2 is priced at Rs 39,990, the HP Split x2 will set you back Rs 64,990.
