Chinese manufacturer Gionee has now released another device for the Indian market, the GPad G3. The phablet has now appeared on Snapdeal for Rs 9,699 and the latest installment in the company’s GPad line-up, with its predecessors including the GPad G1 and the GPad G2. A quick look at the specifications shows that the phablet will come with a 5.5-inch display and a pixel resolution of 480x854. The latest addition to the company’s line-up will run Android Jelly Bean 4.2.1 out-of-the-box. Internally, the new product will come with a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 SoC and a PowerVR SGX544 GPU. On the camera front, the phablet will pack a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash along with a VGA front shooter. The device will also come with dual-SIM support.The GPad G3 will come with 1GB of RAM as well as 4GB of internal memory, expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. Connectivity-wise, the device comes with support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EGDE, GPRS and 3G built in. Rounding up the offering is a 2250mAh battery. The phablet measures 157 x 79 x 9.6 mm, but information about the weight of the device is not available at this time.

Gionee was last in the news when it launched its flagship smartphone, the Elife E6 in India for Rs 22,999. Take a look at our first impressions and unboxing of the company's latest handset. A quick recap shows that the handset comes with a unibody design as well as a 5-inch OGS (One-Glass-Solution) AMOLED display, a pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a pixel density of 441ppi. The device measures a slim 6.18mm and weighs in at 128gms. Internally, the handset sports a 1.5GHz MediaTek quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 32GB of internal memory which is non-expandable. On the camera-front, the handset comes with a 13-megapixel auto focus camera with a second generation BSI sensor and LED flash. Also packed in is a 5-megapixel front shooter with a 28mm lens. Both cameras can support 1080p video recording as well. The device comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean running the show and rounds up the offering with a 2020mAh battery.
