Canon MP258 Error Code and How to Resolve

 MP258 Error Code there are two types of codes, namely :

1. use the letter P ,for example P07
2. use the letter E ,for example E05

Error code P Canon MP258 :
 
P02 ( Cartridge Error )
solution :

• Make sure that no foreign objects stuck in Roll Printer .
• Clean and check the encoder ,maybe subject to splashes of ink .

P03 ( Line Feed Error )
Cause : Timing Disk dirty / damaged .
solution :

• Timing Checks Disk Printer Sensor on the left .
• Check and clean the circuit board

P05 ( ASF Sensor Error )
Cause: The paper detection sensor Canon MP258 Error .
solution :
Try replacing one of the following parts :

• ASF / PE sensor unit .
• Motor .
• Canon MP258 Printer Board .

P06 ( Internal Temperature Error ) :
Cause : Excessive heat inside that Canon MP258 Printer .
solution :

• Clean the inside of the MP258 Printer .
• Replace MP258 Printer Board .

P07 ( Ink Absorber Full ) :
Cause : Ink Counter Full / Full , Printer Canon MP258 reset requested in disposable Software .
Solution :

• Reset Printer Canon MP258 using the software .

P08 ( Print Head Temperature Rrise Error ) :
Cause : Head too hot , exceeds the threshold , typically Cartridge color .
Solution : 

• Try changing the color Cartridge Printer Canon MP258 .

P09 ( EEPROM Error )
Cause : Canon MP258 experienced board EEPROM Corrupt or damaged .
Solution :

• Replace Canon MP258 Printer Board .

P15 ( USB VBUS Over Current ) :
Cause : Printer excess current from the USB cable Canon MP258 Printer .
solution :

• Try Replace USB Cables Printer Canon MP258 , if still faulty, replace the Canon MP258 Printer Board .

P20 ( Other Hardware Error ) :
Cause : Damage to other hardware .
Solution :

• Replace Canon MP258 Printer Board .

P22 ( Scanner error )
Cause : Scanner not working .
solution :

• Replace Canon MP258 printer scanner .
• Replace Canon MP258 Printer Board .

Error code E Canon MP258 :

E04 :
Canon MP258 Cartridge is not installed properly .
Solution :

• Remove the Cartridge , continue to install again .

E05 :
Canon MP258 Cartridge is not installed properly or there is a defective cartridge .
solution :

• Remove the cartridge , continue to install again .
• Replace the cartridge if one is damaged .

E14 and E15 :
Canon MP258 Cartridge is not installed properly .
Solution : 

• Remove the Cartridge , continue to install again .

E13 and E16 :
Ink Has Run Out / Cartridge be reset .
Solution :

• Press the STOP / Reset for 5-15 seconds wait until Led Display ( LCD ) process.
