According to a relevant source, the Canadian Mobile manufacturing giant, the BlackBerry is reportedly preparing to sell of the company by the end of this November.
We have heard it from a BlackBerry board member, that the company is in plans to sell some of it's pieces, also the BlackBerry special committee has already spoken to potentially interested parties, and began to short list the suitors. Reports also comes in claiming, that this special committee is interested in holding an auction, intentionally in plans of selling off the company. The former Sony Ericsson executive, who's now a member of BlackBerry's board, has said that the company should sell off pieces of itself and become a "niche" player. We can also consider the previous reports on BlackBerry Messenger application services preparing to sell off to a separate company.
