Apple's A7 chipset is manufactured by Samsung and M7 co-processor by NXP Semiconductors

Well one of the biggest rivalries in the smartphones market for a few years have been firing up between the American multinational corporation company, Apple and the South Korean multinational electronics company, Samsung.

And now as the Apple's new iPhones has hit the store shelves a couple of days ago, there also came up an interesting breakdown from a reliable source, confirming that the Apple's 2013 flagship, the iPhone 5S's processor, the A7 is manufactured in the Samsung's labs. The tear-down also led to the conclusion that the M7 co-processor is made by NXP Semiconductors, Netherlands.

It was previously reported the American company has signed a deal with the Taiwanese Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) for the production of their future SoC's. But as we are aware, the Americans are still depending on the South Koreans for powering up their 2013 flagship, the iPhone 5S.
