Android 4.4 KitKat is the next version of Google's operating system, cross's 1 Billion Android devices activation's






Today at Google's Headquarters in Googleplex, California, US, has brought up a giant 'KitKat' bar of Android statue, as it has already been previously announced, that the next name for the 4.4 version of Android. "Prepare for a sweet new treat!"

As we know that the next version of Android is going to be 5.0 Key Lime Pie, and now the company is celebrating the successor of it's recently announced version 4.3 Jelly Bean, as Android 4.4 KitKat. The name comes from a very famous Nestle's chocolate bar, KitKat, which is trademarked and licensed under Hershey in the Stateside.

Today the American multinational corporation company has also passed a 1 Billion mark on Android device activation's, as Google's Android and Chrome Head, Sunder Pichai quotes like this on his latest Google+ post, "All this Android innovation is driving tremendous ecosystem momentum and I’m excited to share that together we've now passed 1 Billion Android device activation's  Huge thanks to the entire Android community from the hardware manufacturers, chip makers and carriers to the developers and content creators to all of you - our Android users around the world - for making this possible."
