And here is Android 4.4 KitKat!

Hey friends, I know all the android fans are waiting desperately for next Android update. Google just released Android 4.3 and now they are releasing Android 4.4, in less than 2 months! We got Android 4.3 after waiting for 4-5 months (or more, don't know exactly) :P and we are getting 4.4 after 1 month, it's amazing. After Android 4.2 JellyBean, here's KitKat. This is a surprise by Google. The head of Google Chrome and Android (Sundar Picha) confirmed that the next version of Android will be Android 4.4 (KitKat). I love to eat KitKat and will taste it in my device too!..wish it get Dairy Milk too :P There were too many rumors of Android 5.0 but I think we will get after Android 4.9..:P

Google decided to make Key Lime Pie but soon they relised that many people haven't tasted Lime Pie so they named it KitKat. Google's officials said

"very few people actually know the taste of a key lime pie,

When Google was confused in deciding the name of version,
Someone said:

"One of the snacks that we keep in our kitchen for late-night coding are KitKats.
And someone said: 'Hey, why don't we call the release KitKat?'

Then they said

"We didn't even know which company controlled the name, and we thought that [the choice] would be difficult. But then we thought well why not, and we decided to reach out to the Nestle folks."
Within 24 hours, Nestle accepted this deal in next 24 hours. Actually, it was done in just 1 hour!

"Very frankly, we decided within an hour to say let's do it," Patrice Bula, Nestle's marketing chief

Mr Bula said that there are some risks on accepting this because if the new OS proved to be crash-prone or particularly vulnerable to malware it could cause collateral damage to KitKat's brand.

"Maybe I will be fired", he joked

"When you try to lead a new way of communicating and profiling a brand you always have a higher risk than doing something much more traditional."

"You can go round the swimming pool 10 times wondering if the water is cold or hot or you say: 'Let's jump.'"

Nestle are planning to make more than 50 millions chocolates to promote this Android version.
The bundling must be handled ahead of time in the course of recent months. At the same time in spite of the scale of the operation, the two firms devised a workable plan to keep the story a secrete.

"Keeping it confidential was paramount to Google's strategy,"
"Absolutely nothing leaked.", said Mr Bula.

"We kept calling the name Key Lime Pie internally and even when we referred to it with partners,"

"If we had said, 'The K release is, by the way, secret', then people would have racked their minds trying to work out what it was going to be.", said Mr Lagerling.

"A lot of things, especially in tech nowadays, become public before they are officially supposed to be,"
"I think it's going to a big surprise for a lot of people, including Googlers.", said Mr Lagerling.
